Nuffield Recycling Centre has a WEEE recycling bay (2.1 miles from Poole). But getting a washing machine or cooker there means loading it into a van — they're too heavy and awkward for a car boot. You'll need to lift it into the WEEE container yourself. Vans and trailers require a free permit — apply online at least 5 working days ahead. Save your back and book a collection instead.
