BCP Garden Waste Brown Bin Service

BCP Council offers a subscription garden waste collection service using brown bins. Here's the full guide.

How Much Does It Cost?

£56 per year. This covers fortnightly brown bin collections from March through November. No collections December through February.

How to Sign Up

Subscribe online at bcpcouncil.gov.uk. You'll receive a brown bin within 10 working days of subscribing. Payment is annual, upfront.

What Goes in the Brown Bin?

What Doesn't Go in the Brown Bin?

Overflow and Big Clear-Outs

The brown bin is great for weekly clippings, but after a major hedge trim or tree cut-back, you'll fill it in minutes. Extra bags of garden waste left beside the brown bin will not be collected. For one-off clear-outs, consider a TipRun garden waste collection.

Brown bin full after a big garden clear-out?

TipRun takes any volume of garden waste. From £80, same-day.
