In Weymouth — whether in Radipole, Wyke Regis and Preston — rubble removal is one of those jobs that needs muscle and a licensed disposal route. Victorian terraces near the seafront and modern estates inland properties across the area regularly generate construction waste from renovations and extensions. We collect from your driveway or garden, load the heavy stuff onto our van, and take it to a licensed construction waste facility. Weymouth’s nearest recycling centre is in Dorchester (7.5 miles). Many residents find the drive inconvenient, especially without a car or for large items.

Dorset Council doesn't collect rubble through their standard bulky waste service. Construction waste is your responsibility. The tip limits rubble to 3 bags per visit, meaning a kitchen refit could take 5-6 trips. A skip hire company will drop a skip for £200-350 but needs a permit if it's on the road. Dorchester Recycling Centre (7.5 miles from Weymouth) accepts rubble, but limits you to 3 bags per visit. For any serious amount of construction waste, you'll need multiple trips — and rubble is incredibly heavy, so you'll be loading and unloading 25kg bags each time. Plasterboard must go in a separate designated area. Dorset address proof required. We collect the lot in one visit.
Victorian terraces near the seafront have narrow stairways and limited front access. Modern estates in Chickerell and Littlemoor have good access. For rubble removal, please have the rubble accessible on the driveway or in the front garden. We can't collect from inside the house for loose rubble — bag it in rubble sacks or builder's bags first. Seafront and town centre have pay-and-display and resident permits. Residential areas mostly free. Summer parking can be very limited.

Yes — plasterboard needs specialist disposal (it can't go to standard landfill) but we handle that. No extra charge, it just goes to a different facility.
