Dorchester Recycling Centre (1.0 mile from Dorchester) accepts rubble, but limits you to 3 bags per visit. For any serious amount of construction waste, you'll need multiple trips — and rubble is incredibly heavy, so you'll be loading and unloading 25kg bags each time. Plasterboard must go in a separate designated area. Dorset address proof required. We collect the lot in one visit.
Fordington has narrow streets. Poundbury has wide, well-planned access. Town centre properties can be tricky for large items due to narrow doorways. For rubble removal, please have the rubble accessible on the driveway or in the front garden. We can't collect from inside the house for loose rubble — bag it in rubble sacks or builder's bags first. Town centre has pay-and-display and limited short-stay. Poundbury has ample parking. Residential areas have mostly on-street.
