Weekdays: 9am – 5pm (Apr–Sep), 9am – 4pm (Oct–Mar). Saturday: 9am – 5pm (Apr–Sep), 9am – 4pm (Oct–Mar). Sunday: 9am – 5pm (Apr–Sep), 9am – 4pm (Oct–Mar). Bank holidays: 9am – 4pm (closed 25–26 Dec, 1 Jan).

Dorset Council permit required for vans and trailers.

Accepted items include: Furniture, Appliances, Garden waste, Rubble, Wood, Metal, Cardboard, Textiles, Paint. Items NOT accepted: Asbestos, Gas bottles, Clinical waste, Trade waste.

Dorchester Recycling Centre does not accept: Asbestos, Gas bottles, Clinical waste, Trade waste. These items need specialist disposal.

TipRun collects from your door — no trip to the tip needed. Same-day collection available, from £40 for single items. We accept everything the recycling centre does.
