Call-out fee: £49 — covers our team travelling to you. Item prices are on top.
Old TVs — especially heavy CRTs and large flat-screens — are classified as WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) and need specialist recycling. You can't put them in your normal bins. In Broadstone, from Lower Blandford Road, Hillbourne and Dunyeats, we collect TVs and monitors of any type and size from your home. CRT, LCD, LED, plasma — they all contain materials that need proper handling. 1930s detached and semi-detached with large gardens properties in the area mean wall-mounted TVs, entertainment setups, and old screens stored in garages are all common finds during clear-outs. Affluent residential area popular with families. Larger gardens and garages mean more clearance and garden waste jobs.
While we're there: add the TV stand (£35), a small appliance (£45), or bags of rubbish (£12/bag)

Your TV + call-out = £79 total. A half load is £179 — just £100 more to clear the whole room.
BCP Council includes TVs in their bulky waste service at £37.50 for up to 3 items. You'll wait 2–3 weeks and need to leave it at the kerbside. For large flat-screens this is manageable, but old CRT TVs are extremely heavy for their size. TipRun collects from inside your home.

Nuffield Recycling Centre (2.8 miles from Broadstone) has a WEEE bay for electronics. TVs are accepted, but larger screens can be awkward to transport in a car. Old CRT TVs are particularly heavy — a 32-inch CRT weighs around 40kg. Vans and trailers require a free permit — apply online at least 5 working days ahead. If you've got a TV plus other items to clear, a TipRun collection makes more sense than multiple tip trips.
Easy access throughout. Wide roads, most homes have driveways. A few cul-de-sacs can be tight for larger vehicles. For TV disposal, please unplug the TV and remove any wall brackets if wall-mounted (we collect the TV, not the bracket). Remotes, cables, and small accessories can go with the TV at no extra charge. Driveways standard. Free on-street parking. No permit zones. Wide residential roads.
From £30. Same-day collection available.
